Hand-crafted soap deserves a pedestal to dry out on between use to extend its life.  Enter the wooden soap rest.  The sculpted saw tooth channels cradle the soap and allow excess water to drain away, preventing sticking.

Each one is handmade using reclaimed wood scrap that was initially sustainably grown and harvested wood from USA, diverting useful wood from going into landfills.

What is it made of?

These wooden soap rests are made of reclaimed Red Adler, a hardwood tree native to the Pacific Northwest. It has a beautiful warm grain that naturally darkens over time.

How do I use and care for it?

Every 3-4 weeks wipe the soap rest clean and let it dry out overnight. I can be returned to use the next day.

For best results it is recommended to rotate between two soap rests every 2 weeks while the first is cleaned, dried, and put away for a break. Using the soap rests in pairs can significantly extend their lifespan by preventing mold, mildew, soap scum, and preserving both the soap and wooden soap rest.

Intentionally small. Deliberately natural. Thoughtfully beautiful.
