Poppy & Pearl Provisions is a nature-centered lifestyle brand grounded in craftmanship, innate beauty, and imagining a better life.  The products are always intentional, small-batch, and created with ethical ingredients so you can focus on savoring the ritual of use.

Planet

We are connected to the Earth.  It grounds us, gives us sustenance, and connects us to all living things.  We borrow from it. The way we use and treat the environment impacts our daily relationships and long-term health.

The products are made using sustainably sourced, natural ingredients and materials.  At times they are grown and hand-picked from my own garden or wild-foraged. Raw ingredient partners and distributors are carefully chosen to ensure transparency within the supply chain.  Products are sourced from suppliers exercising organic, ethical, and sustainable farming practices, demonstrated commitments to reducing carbon emissions, taking advantage of reclaimed wood or industry by-product sources, zero-waste production facilities, and employing energy efficient processes to name a few.  Admittedly not every ingredient we buy can be traced back to a farm with sustainable practices, but when we can’t meet that expectation, we still work with partners that source through a reputable supply chain.

Poppy and Pearl Provisions minimizes impact on the environment by decreasing or eliminating, where possible, the use of plastic.  We look to the earth and botanical sources for natural benefits.   We avoid synthetic ingredients and packaging that can’t be recycled, composted, reused, or hasn’t already been reused once.

People

Our connection with the world doesn’t stop with the earth but extends to its inhabitants. 

Accordingly, we seek to collaborate with like-minded suppliers and partners that share our values and commitment to supporting fair trade, fair wages, and humane working conditions.  Illustrations of community commitment from our suppliers include provisions of health insurance and tuition, building or support of local schools, flexible hours for working mothers, sustainable agriculture training programs for area farmers, and providing Fair Trade for Life Certification.

Poppy & Pearl Provisions views social responsibility not merely as a choice, but as a duty to support progress and positive change within our extended community, whether local or world-wide.  Therefore, 1% of all profits will be donated to humanitarian, social justice, and environmental non-profits that share our core belief systems to make the world a better and more beautiful place to coexist together.

We bring intentionality and commitment into every product we make.  We design and create pieces to merge natural beauty and exquisite functionality.  This isn’t mass production, it is small-batch craftsmanship. Every piece we sell is created or selected to feed the senses: a balance of ingredient benefits, visual and innate beauty, texture, and end use. There is a constant evaluation of whether we are doing it right, how to improve the process, the product, and decrease our overall environmental impact.  In this way, we are dedicated to highlighting our continued analog existence: created by people, crafted by hand.
